Sup! I'm always torn about whether to go by LucidLady or Zaade. Guess for this site, I'm going with LucidLady! I like to draw. And I like to write. I'd like to combine my drawing with my writing. So, my big goal is to make a comic! Wish me luck.
I've got a universe I want to run some RPs in.
The scale and diversity of tech/magic/supernatural elements is very similar to Guardians of the Galaxy.
There are many worlds. Many alien races. Advanced tech, but nothing crazy. Arguably more magic than SciFi. And it all takes place on the scale of a single, entire galaxy.
Do not expect classic magic. No demons or wizards per-se. No "casting spells" for anyone but your character, if that's what you want to do as the protagonist.
It's not all as serious as it might sound.
Everything is very flexible.
If anything rubs you the wrong way, just say so and i'll rip the whole aspect out.
I know it's very easy to just do generic vampires/werewolves/witches etc, as opposed to going on a limb for something like this.
But I promise you, it's worth it. I can say that with confidence.
You don't need to know anything about all the rules or technical stuff to start.
In fact, i'd prefer you to be as blind as possible before getting thrown in.
You can just learn everything naturally over time.
No big info dumps required beforehand - unless you're just plain curious.
Your character can come from any setting/background you like. Travelers from parallel dimension are a common occurrence in the Divine Realm. The entire realm is a bit of a gutter where all other dimensions bleed into. There are many roads that bring people into the Divine Realm, but very few ways back out again...
There is a common, wide-spread magic system in place, but your character can come with whatever magic system/abilities from their origin realm that you like.
My dream is to one day make The Divine Realm into a comic.
Been practicing my art again lately (after an 8 year break), just got a digital tablet for xmas 2o25.
I'm using these RPs as inspiration and to work out some kinks to the way that the realm functions.
Almost all of the art I do includes the protagonist of my RPs. My RP partner's characters.
I have VERY FEW pictures of just my characters all by themselves.
So, please provide me with samples and references, or at least a detailed description of your RP character.
Because I plan to draw them. Alot, hopefully, if our RP is good.
And I expect you to be BRUTALLY honest in how well i'm drawing your character.
I want to get it right. Don't worry about hurting my feelings. Be nit-picky, in fact.
